MySpace Records is organizing a tribute album of sorts for The Smashing Pumpkins.
The catch? The album won't be commercially available. Starting May 14, each song will be available to stream on the contributing band's website. A CD collects the tracks, but you'll have to shell out for Spin if you want to get it -- it comes bundled with an upcoming issue.
Of course, if this whole tribute thing sounds too boring to swallow, you can always just wait for the reunited Pumpkins to release their next effort, Zeitgeist, July 7 (read full story).
